Principle of reflective cloth

Reflective fabric is a kind of product widely used in outdoor fields such as safety equipment, uniforms, uniforms, environmental sanitation clothing, etc. Reflective fabric can reflect the direct light from afar back to the luminous place, and has outstanding retroreflective optical function no matter in day or night. The product is roughly composed of four parts: substrate, composite adhesive, reflective layer and glass bead.

There are many kinds of reflective materials, ranging from reflective cloth, reflective heat film, reflective ribbon, flame retardant reflective cloth, to reflective wire, reflective lattice strip, reflective edging, reflective leather, etc. Different reflective materials have different characteristics and uses.

According to the difference of the base cloth, the most common materials of reflective cloth are chemical fiber cloth and T/C cloth.

1¡¢ For chemical fiber cloth, our company mainly uses polyester taffeta with specifications of T170 (soft) and T190. Polyester taffeta is a thin polyester fabric, which has the advantages of light texture, wear resistance and easy washing, low price and good quality.

2¡¢ T/C cloth, which is made of polyester and cotton, is characterized by good texture and high strength. Generally, 65% polyester is mixed with 35% cotton. However, considering the cost and actual demand, most of our T/C fabrics are 80% polyester and 20% cotton.

With the enhancement of people's awareness of travel safety protection, the market of reflective materials will continue to expand. Therefore, more new materials can be derived only through continuous product research, development and innovation.

Reflective principle of reflective materials

When a beam of light shines on the front surface of the micro bead at any angle within a certain range, due to the high refraction of the micro bead, the light is concentrated on the reflective layer of the rear surface of the micro bead, and the reflective layer reflects the light back to form a retro reflection. When many glass micro beads reflect at the same time, the front bright scene will appear, which is the cloth formed by composite glass micro beads on the cloth base, called reflective cloth. The work clothes or daily clothes made of this kind of high visibility reflective fabric can be easily found by night drivers in advance, no matter the wearer is far away, or in the presence of light or scattered light. So as to reduce the occurrence of accidents.
